Just Hatched!!!

This is a very precious photo of Anurag! I love it!! This was taken at the hospital by Our365. Anurag is wearing his homecoming romper...it says "Just Hatched"..totally cute!I love how the layout came together in the end...Here is the story of my creation. I spent two hours on Sunday Night trying to figure out how to make this photo work for the DCWV May Stack-o-holic Challenge. The size was not the problem. The problem was I had only one baby stack ...Scrapbook in a Stack-Baby. It is a wonderful stack. First mistake, I bought a 8 by 8 instead of 12 by 12. I never do 8 by 8 layouts! Second, I was fixated on the color blue. I wanted everything blue on the layout. Blue and White! I thought, took out papers from DCWV Pastel Textured Stack and the Brights. Nothing worked. I got totally frustrated and decided I won't participate this month in the challenge! The next day... I guess the sleep helps ;)...I thought ok let me try once more. I took out a plain white cardstock from the brights stack and stamped the background using Market Street Stamps Background Stamp! Love this stamp, Thanks Angelica for this! The moment I stamped that background with green. The color palette just expanded and I could so easily use the Baby Stack. The yellow pastel is from the Pastel textured DCWV stack. I cut the stripes in a way so as not to get any Pink lines. It came out pretty neat!

Both the journaling notes are vellum strips from the stack. Love what it says! I used blue chalk on white cardstock to do those pretty border strips!

The ribbon is from American Crafts. It is so cute! I used the ribbon to hold Anurag's ID tag from the hospital. I am happy now that the tag is safe on the layout! The embellishments are by CTMH. The word JUST are from the baby stack. The word hatched is done by using heidi grace cardstock stickers.

Now that I have shown you the pretty part of the layout. Let me show you what happens if you work on a table which is not clean!!!!

Overall, Had Fun making this layout! Hope you all like it:)

Bundle of Joy!!!

I absolutely love this layout. I used the twine from the twinery- Lilac color to do the hand stitching. I doodled with the CTMH black marker. I wanted to journal a lot. So I decided to make a small journaling book on the layout itself. The card stock is from DCWV pastel stack and the pattern paper is from the colorbok baby page kit. I love the effervescence border punch by fiskars.

Precious Moments!

I love the pic of Sid holding Anurag. He was so overwhelmed with happiness and couldn't believe how small Anurag was!!! These are some of the most precious pics from the hospital. The pattern paper is from the DCWV baby scrapbook in a stack and Colorbok baby boy page kit. I love how both these packs go together! The stamp is by TT-Boulder Alphabet Stamp.

Welcome to this World!!

I am now working on Anurag's Birth Pics and Homecoming. I love how the title came out. I got those chipboard diecuts at a LSS a while back. I didn't even know if I would ever use them and had no idea about die cuts back then. I am talking like a few years back! I love the Cloud 9 paper stack. I think colorbok sent me these for doing one of their surveys. Love the whole stack! Twine from the Twinery. I think it is the lilac twine.

Another First Birthday Layout!

Took a 2 week break from scrapping. Mom was here. I wanted to spend time with her. I cooked while she played with Anurag and we yapped a lot!
This layout is the last one for Anurag's First Birthday. Very simple layout. Love the apron lace border punch and the DCWV brights stack. I used the simple stitches stamp set by CTMH.

Cute "One"

We went to babies-r-us for Anurag's first year photo session! He just didn't want to be there! We still managed to get pretty decent pics!Had to scrap these. All the paper is from Cloud 9. It is a bit thin. So have to be careful if you are using permanent glue. Learnt that the hard way! It tore because I tried repositioning the pattern paper. And then I lost patience and got upset and tore it more!:P One more note to self....walk away from the layout if you are getting tired!!!! The white cardstock is from DCWV. I found these buttons in walmart over 2 years ago!! Finally used them! I love these flowers! Super easy to make..I used my marvy paper crimper and then just folded on the creases and made the flower! I used Scotch ATG Glue gun! Need to look for refills..find a deal somewhere. I am on my last roll. AC Thickers for the title and the brackets are from technique tuesday functuation stamp. Hope you like it:)

This is based on Sketch 7 from Sketchsupport!! Thanks for the sketch!

Let the Festivities begin!!

Well, I am running late with the daily layouts! But I finally managed to catch up !!
Anurag looked super cute in dhoti and kurta! :-)

I used my new technique tuesday stamps-wayfarer...I bought it from two peas FSOT Board...it is nice..but it tore! I guess its old...but never used. Love the font anyways! The paisley stamp is from clear dollar stamp! I used the gromlets which comes with the big bite for accent! I love love love the paisley paper! Thanks nanabeth for the gromlets and the paisley paper. This again is one of Allison's sketches! I am loving it! I used nestabilities classic circles and classic scalloped circles. It is super easy to use! The border punch is fiskars scallop border punch.
