This is a very precious photo of Anurag! I love it!! This was taken at the hospital by Our365. Anurag is wearing his homecoming romper...it says "Just Hatched"..totally cute!I love how the layout came together in the end...Here is the story of my creation. I spent two hours on Sunday Night trying to figure out how to make this photo work for the DCWV May Stack-o-holic Challenge. The size was not the problem. The problem was I had only one baby stack ...Scrapbook in a Stack-Baby. It is a wonderful stack. First mistake, I bought a 8 by 8 instead of 12 by 12. I never do 8 by 8 layouts! Second, I was fixated on the color blue. I wanted everything blue on the layout. Blue and White! I thought, took out papers from DCWV Pastel Textured Stack and the Brights. Nothing worked. I got totally frustrated and decided I won't participate this month in the challenge! The next day... I guess the sleep helps ;)...I thought ok let me try once more. I took out a plain white cardstock from the brights stack and stamped the background using Market Street Stamps Background Stamp! Love this stamp, Thanks Angelica for this! The moment I stamped that background with green. The color palette just expanded and I could so easily use the Baby Stack. The yellow pastel is from the Pastel textured DCWV stack. I cut the stripes in a way so as not to get any Pink lines. It came out pretty neat!
Both the journaling notes are vellum strips from the stack. Love what it says! I used blue chalk on white cardstock to do those pretty border strips!
The ribbon is from American Crafts. It is so cute! I used the ribbon to hold Anurag's ID tag from the hospital. I am happy now that the tag is safe on the layout! The embellishments are by CTMH. The word JUST are from the baby stack. The word hatched is done by using heidi grace cardstock stickers.
Now that I have shown you the pretty part of the layout. Let me show you what happens if you work on a table which is not clean!!!!
Overall, Had Fun making this layout! Hope you all like it:)
